We walked in honor of...

Eva Burnette, Sue Rilenge, Bev Maday, Kay Mahaffey, Ruth Ann Holon, Avis Keith, Vicky Collins, Sue Whittington, Rosalie Binns, Karen Lister, Linda Simmons, Betty Vining and Delores White.

Day 1, waiting for Opening Ceremonies to begin - I FOUND A STARBUCKS! 

that's me with the backpack waiting in line after Day 1 to get help for my blistered feet 

home sweet home (at least for a couple of nights) 

sleeping in a tent on the ground is not so bad when you are as worn out as we were after Day 1 

Day 2 - looks like a deer in the headlights 

miles and miles of walkers as far as the eye could see... 

as "walkers" we got a kick out of this road sign just outside the city of Stone Mountain 

Pit Stops every 3 miles with lots of snacks, sports drink, water, port-o-potties, medical supplies, etc.

We walked in honor of 13 special women (Eva Burnette, Sue Rilenge, Bev Maday, Kay Mahaffey, Ruth Ann Holon, Avis Keith, Vicky Collins, Sue Whittington, Rosalie Binns, Karen Lister, Linda Simmons, Betty Vining and Delores White) and we wore an official �Changing Lives. The 3-Day.� wrist band for each of them with their name printed on it.
